October 30, 1862: Started at Sunrise
Diary Entry:
Started at Sunrise this morning. and at 11 O’c. A.M. halted about seven miles from the Ferry on the Leesburg road. We have pitched tents, and from appearances I would suppose that we will remain here several days. Nearly all our Corps has come on. we are now in the reserve of Burnsides force.
